classes are taught throughout the year in an 8 week series format. You can join in at any time, providing there is space in the class of your choice. There are also shorter 4 week series offered during the year to allow people to try Christian Yoga without the 8 week commitment.

WINTER SERIES STARTING THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 19th

Registration Information:

Current Students have the opportunity to pre-register for the upcoming series, please pre-pay before the end of the current series (cash or post-dated cheque) to hold your spot in your preferred class. 

New Student or returning after a hiatus? There will be a number of spots available and I would love to have you join in.

Descriptions of Classes Offered 

 Faithful Flow intermediate level flow class incorporates flowing and breath-synchronized movement through the poses to build core strength, balance flexibility and endurance. For active, fit  beginners and more experienced students. Tuesdays 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm, 1st class Tuesday November 21st, (series cost $72)  Maximum 22 students.

                                                                   

Chair Yoga Tuesdays seated Yoga with some standing work with the chair to assist you, for folks who would prefer not to practice on a yoga mat. Tuesdays 10:00 am to 10:45 am, 1st class Tuesday November 21st, (series cost $56)  Maximum 18 students.

Chair Yoga Thursdays- seated Yoga with some standing work with the chair to assist you, for folks who would prefer not to practice on a yoga mat. Thursdays 10:00 am to 10:45 am, 1st class Thursday November 23rd,  (series cost $56) Maximum 18 students.

Gentle Journey level 1 –   a gentle practice for beginners and all those looking for relaxation, stretching with some strength work. Tuesdays 11:00 am to Noon,           1st class Tuesday November 21st,  (series cost $72). Maximum 22 students.

Gentle Journey level 2  a  practice for fit beginners and more experienced students includes core and balance work, stretching and relaxation. Thursdays 11:00 am to Noon, 1st class Thursday November 23rd,  (series cost $72). Maximum 22 students.

 

Note: There are a total of 22 student spots available in Faithful Flow, and the Gentle Journey classes and 18 student spots available in the Chair Yoga classes. Current students have the opportunity to pre-register. 

 

Interested in doing two classes per week? Ask me about the option to register for 2 one hour class series of your choice (for a total of 16 classes) for $128 ! Or 2 Chair Yoga class series (for a total of 16 classes) for $100 !

Registration

 Registration is in person; a health questionnaire and waiver must be filled out and signed prior to participation in the series. Youth under 18yrs must have guardian or parent sign the waiver. If you are a current student, please let me know if your health status changes or if you are dealing with an injury.

What to bring to class:

Chair Yoga:  indoor shoes or non-slip socks or slippers. Water shoes work well as they are non-slip and allow you to stretch your feet. 

Gentle Journey: Please bring your own yoga mat (can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire  or Winners for  $20 or less). Wear comfortable clothing, also a water bottle is a good idea.

Faithful flow: Please bring your own yoga mat (can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire or Winners for $20 or less). Wear comfortable clothing, also please bring a water bottle.

Please try to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time. Yoga mats are available to borrow. Blankets, cushions, yoga blocks and straps are available to enhance your practice.

Refund Policy:

A refund is available for medical reasons only and is based on the number of classes left in the series.

Should you have to miss a class, you are welcome to make up your class during the current series by attending another class in the schedule. Or if there is room (please check with me!) you may invite a friend with you to make up your missed class at no cost (please arrive 10 minutes early so he/she can meet me and fill out the health form and waiver).
